Language Placements

The Museum offers placements to foreign students who wish to improve their English, while gaining work experience relating to their degree subjects.

Tasks offered will vary and will depend upon the individual student’s language skills and experience, however, most of the placements offered usually involve reception work and summer visitor surveys. Students with higher levels of English may be offered the opportunity to become involved with museum documentation, general office duties and design and display work but this is dependent upon individual’s relevant skills.
