The ranges we stock are directly inspired by Torquay Museum’s collections and exhibitions, with many items exclusive to the Gift Shop. Whether you're looking for Ancient Egyptian-themed items, local history books or unique Agatha Christie merchandise, the Museum's Gift Shop is the place to visit!
Torquay Museum stocks unique, limited edition bespoke merchandise that cannon be found anywhere else. These come in the form of tea towels, magnets, keyrings, coasters, bookmarks and postcards. We even have lens cloths and large edge-to-edge tote bags! This is in addition to our large collection of old and new Agatha Christie books, DVDs and prints. Our selection of second-hand Christie titles is constantly being updated so if you're missing something from your collection please think of us. The Museum can also supply prints to order from our archives of Agatha and her home available in A5 to A3.
For younger ones we have an extensive assortment of Lanka Kade wooden toys to choose from in bright and bold colours. Lanka Kade specialise in producing fair trade handcrafted wooden toys and gifts for children. Our shelves are packed with a massive variety of animals and knights in addition to wooden spinning tops and chunky jigsaws. If you're interested in avoiding gifting plastic toys we can offer a nice alternative.
As the Museum is family-focused and education driven, we want our 16 and under toy section to represent that, offering a wide range of items. Whether it is children's books about history, science kits, arts and crafts, cuddly animals from Nature Planet or general play, you can find it in our gift shop.
Cuddly toys from Nature Planet are high quality with a focus on sustainability and environmental impact. The Nature Planet RE-PET range is 100% made of recycled plastic bottles.
The Gift Shop currently hosts a range of products lovingly crafted by local businesses and artisans. We are looking to increase the number of Shelfer’s we currently have on roster, with up to 18 shelves available each period!
