If you wish to make a group booking please contact the Museum on 01803 293975 or email us at [email protected].
We recommend that you book in advance, particularly for larger groups, to ensure that we can accommodate you. The Museum can get busy on weekends and during school holidays, so try planning your visit on a weekday to get the most from your group visit.
Visiting groups, unless on a guided tour*, will usually work within the Galleries, in the Local Studies Room or in Pengelly Hall, which offers a high tech multimedia system for lectures and presentations. The Museum has full disabled access to all the Galleries and space for bags and coats to be left during work sessions.
We are a short walk from the town centre or coaches may stop to set down outside then return later for collecting passengers. There is one disabled parking space suitable for a car or small minibus. This space should be reserved if required. More information about accessible travel, Museum entrances, getting around the Museum and accessible facilities can be found in the Museum Accessibility pages.
Groups of 10 or more adults (18+ years old) are eligible for a preferential group rate (£6 per person) if booked in advance.
Groups of 10 or more children (3-16 years old) are eligible for a preferential group rate (£4 per person) if booked in advance. Any group leaders/organisers are entitled to free admission with their group.
Guided tours can be provided at an extra cost of £2 per person. Minimum charge is £40.
Please note these tickets are valid for one day entry.
