19th Mar 2024, 10:45 am
Torquay Museum Society Lecture by Peter Exley
The Shetland Islands are like no other place in Britain, their landscape carved by their sub-Arctic location and thousands of years by human influence. This talk will look at the Shetland landscape, its wildlife, heritage and communities, based upon the cultural tours that peter leads to this remote archipelago.
Lectures are free of charge to Torquay Museum Society Members but the general public are also welcome to attend - £5 per ticket, payable on the door.
