Torquay Museum Society Lecture by Chris Wiseman
Chris presents the compelling story of how Exeter became a frontline Battle of Britain airfield during WW2. He covers the station’s rapid construction, the operations of the three fighter squadrons based there and the international pilots who so bravely defended the south-west of England.
Lectures are free of charge to Torquay Museum Society Members but the general public are also welcome to attend - £5 per ticket, payable on the door.
