calendar27th Feb 2024, 10:45 am

Torquay Museum Society Lecture by Douglas Herdson

In 1831, a 22-year-old wastrel sailed off around the world and returned, 5 years later, an eminent scientist whose views would change the world forever. How did those ideas develop, and what is heir importance today?

Lectures are free of charge to Torquay Museum Society Members but the general public are also welcome to attend - £5 per ticket, payable on the door.
