Graham Sclater is the sixth generation of nurserymen and market gardeners from Exeter which stretches as far back as the 1700s. Graham’s talk, “The Wonderful World of Tulips” will include interesting facts about this fascinating bulb, tulip hunters, countries where they grow, propagation and tulip mania in Holland in 1636-37.

Lectures are free of charge to Torquay Museum Society Members. But the general public are also welcome to attend - £5 per ticket, payable on the door.
