Dr. Beer explores the controversial life of Devon’s Walter Ralegh. Soldier, adventurer, poet and star of Elizabeth I’s court, he was imprisoned by her successor on a charge of High Treason.

Lectures are free of charge to Torquay Museum Society Members. But the general public are also welcome to attend - £5 per ticket, payable on the door
