As part of 'Sharing Stories' a festival celebrating Storytelling and Writing on the English Riviera

To celebrate 'World Book Day', Torbay Museums (Brixham Heritage Museum, Torre Abbey Museum and Torquay Museum) will be hosting a weekend of events, tours, talks and presentations with the theme of 'Sharing Stories'

Friday 2nd March, 1pm to 2pm

At Torquay Museum

A friendly and informal tour of the museum’s ‘Lost City of Z’ exhibition which traces the story of Torquay Explorer Percy Harrison- Fawcett and his search for the lost city. 

This session is suitable for people with mild to moderate memory problems, who must be accompanied by a friend, relative or carer. An illustrated information sheet is available to take home and carry on the conversation.  Spaces are limited to 10 people to ensure the best possible experience. All events are FREE to attend, but a valid Museum entry ticket for Torquay Museum/Torre Abbey Museum events is required*.  Pay once and get in free for a year. Obtain your FREE ticket here:
