An inspirational learning experience with Torquay Museum

Torquay museum is ranked as one of the finest museums’ in the southwest and is home to a number of significant collections, objects and artefacts.

The museum offers a range of learning experiences for all visitors and our comprehensive education service enables people of all ages to learn about our past and the amazing world around us.

We can provide facilitated sessions together with worksheets on a variety of themes or groups may use our galleries independently. If you are unable to visit the museum our Education and Access Officer can arrange outreach sessions where we will bring objects and slideshows to you.

In addition to this the museum also offers work placement opportunities to students and volunteers. These range from Secondary School work experience to undergraduate and language school placements
